John is a husband to Cathy and the father of three daughters and one son. He has been involved in residential construction for 25 years, with the past 10 years devoted exclusively to design. He has worked on projects of all sizes and shapes ranging from one-room additions to 6000 square foot new homes in traditional and contemporary styles. John believes in working closely with homeowners, drawing out their needs and preferences while allowing them to maintain control over the design process and the final plan. His goal is to produce a home which is an aesthetically pleasing \\\"gift to the street\\\" and which fits well with the homeowner and his or her unique family, lifestyle, building site and neighbourhood.
