Our Response to Covid-19

My House is open and available to
serve you in this difficult time.

We care deeply about protecting the health and safety of our community. As COVID-19 continues to spread, we will continue to constantly monitor updates from health authorities to stay current. In the meantime, we will actively communicate updates as they become available. Below you will find current precautionary measures we have implemented.

Our Operations

Despite near-term uncertainties, our team remains confident in our company business model and long-term growth opportunities. We have shifted operations to the following to ensure the health and the safety of our community.

We have shifted operations to the following to ensure the health and the safety of our community:

  • Our team has switched to working from home remotely, having team meetings, clients meetings, etc. through virtual channels.
  • Our offices are sanitized daily.
  • Sanitizer, gloves and masks are available by our entrance.
  • Our office is open regular business hours (or after hours by appointment) but visitors can enter-by appointment only.
  • We have placed secured, metal lockbox outside for mail and envelope deliveries to avoid contact with delivery personnel as much as possible.
  • Anyone with symptoms or who has been exposed to the virus will not come to work
  • Anyone that has either traveled or been in contact with someone that has travelled in the last 14 days is required to self-isolate for the next 14 days regardless of whether or not they’re showing symptoms.

More about our new way of working

Construction Safety Guidelines

The BC Government declared construction an essential service, on March 26th, 2020.  Deeming our industry a “daily service essential to preserving life, health, public safety and basic societal functioning.” With the essential service designation comes significant responsibility for everyone in construction —to us, each other, and to our communities.
As stated by Provincial Health Officer, Dr. Bonnie Henry, “We must continue to build, repair and maintain the critical infrastructure our communities rely on to sustain themselves – roads, hospitals, schools and homes. And we must do this within the safety directives mandated by the Provincial Health Officer.”
These are the Most Current Guidelines for All My House Constructions sites. For all workers, trades, suppliers, and clients visiting job sites.

  • Anyone with COVID-19-like symptoms, such as sore throat, fever, sneezing, chills, coughing or has been exposed to the virus must self-isolate at home for 14 days.
  • Anyone that has either traveled or been in contact with someone that has travelled in the last 14 days is required to self-isolate for the next 14 days regardless of whether or not they’re showing symptoms

  • It is mandatory for anyone entering the site to report to the Construction Manager. Construction Manager is responsible to keep records of all persons who have been on-site by date.

  • All common areas and surfaces are cleaned at the end of each workday.
  • No sharing tools, equipment, food or utensils, etc. between workers.
  • Sanitization stations are available on-site and signage posted that identifies its location. Workers are instructed to wash hands often and sanitize common elements regularly.

Social Distancing

  • Project Managers and other team members are to limit visits on-site to only when absolutely mandatory.
  • Everyone must maintain a distance of at least two metres apart from each other.
  • All possible communication is being done remotely, when not possible, site meetings will be held in open spaces or outside with social distancing.
  • There should be no more than 1-5 people in a room at a time.
  • Only one trade will be allowed to be present in any one room.
  • When social distancing is not possible, workers must wear a hazmat mask.
  • Stagger shifts, coffee breaks, and lunch breaks to minimize the number of people in one area.
  • Shipments and deliveries are to be dropped off, avoiding personal contact. If a signature is needed, use your own pen and wear gloves if any paperwork or packaging is to be touched.
  • Everyone must wear gloves and masks as often as possible . Especially in confined spaces, when in close proximity to one another (such as reviewing plans together) or finishing stages.
  • For residential renovations where homeowners are still occupying the home, clear space boundaries have been implemented (dedicated washroom, our crew is not to enter certain areas and homeowners are to stay out of the renovation zone even after hours, etc.).
