This house, featured on the cover of Home Makeover as a finalist in the Georgie Awards, received a complete renovation, inside and out. One thousand square feet of extra space was created, through additions to the top floor and the existing garage. A new kitchen is part of the main floor makeover. The house is now a model of “green” construction and design, featuring energy-saving windows, doors and skylights, a high-efficiency heating system; and the use of sustainable materials, including concrete siding and locally-sourced building materials.
