PARADE STOPS

Vancouver Home

This beautifully renovated character home is a must see! Having grown up in this house our client wanted a fresh update and to add livable square footage for his family of five.

One of the most important areas for them was the kitchen. Originally small and dated, an addition was built along the back of the home to allow for more modern function. The new, larger room features an open concept kitchen and dining area where the whole family can gather.

The addition also allowed us to create 3 new bedrooms and a new bathroom in the basement. This expansion freed up the upper level of the home to become a haven for these homeowners.Like many homeowners, an outdoor living space they could enjoy year-round was also at the top of their list. Just outside the kitchen we created an undercover area with a fireplace that stays dry and warm through the seasons. The existing shakes on the house’s exterior were previously covered by metal siding, but we were able to salvage the shakes to bring back the original character of this home.

We’re thrilled to have helped this family renovate this charming generational home in a way that supports their lifestyle and needs.

Port Moody Home

If you’re looking to update a sub-division style home, you won’t want to miss this stop! Previously dark and dated, this main floor has been fully renovated creating a bright and open space.

Like many homes of this era, it featured a sunken living room, disjointing it from the rest of the level. Now raised, the main floor feels larger and more cohesive even though no space has been added.

At the centre of the main floor is the stairwell. Previously built with pony wall barriers, it’s now complete with sleek glass, stainless steel railings, and a stunning backlit stone feature.

Fresh and contemporary, there is new engineered brush oak hardwood floor throughout, ceiling-high cabinets for added storage, and unique design elements that ensure this home seamlessly supports these homeowner’s lifestyle.

Surrey Home

This full interior and exterior renovation completely transformed this family home to a house that looks brand new! The owners wanted a more functional living space with a view to the yard from the front door, a family-centric design, and a year-round outdoor living space.

A great room was created as a space for family entertaining, and it also facilitated clear flow- through from indoor to outdoor living space at the back of the home. The outdoor living space is the client’s self-proclaimed “happy place,” with electric heaters, an open dining space, and stone-faced built-in BBQ. This main floor renovation meets all the family’s current and future needs while functionally blending modern artistry and comfort.

Surrey Home

An in-construction project, this multi-generational home was in need of a refresh. In addition to updating the finishes and fixtures, the layout needed to be reworked for the younger generation’s growing family. Upstairs we’ve removed walls that once separated the spaces and used that square footage to create a modern, open floorplan. The end result is an expansive great room with a striking vaulted ceiling.

But we’re not stopping there! The outside of this home is getting a complete update as well with new windows, doors, and vinyl siding. The new modern look will have an architectural feel while still blending in to this family friendly neighbourhood.

We’re sure this family will love their renovated home for generations to come!
